21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

Prayer and fasting are vital ways to connect with and deeply enjoy God. To some, these spiritual disciplines may seem daunting or unfamiliar, but Scripture continually points us to prayer and fasting as important ways to get more of God in our lives. To that end, beginning Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Watermark family embarked on 21 days of prayer and fasting together. During these three weeks, members were able to experience prayer and fasting individually, in their community groups, and as a church body.

21 Daily Prayer Prompts

We sent out daily text messages with simple prompts for our body to pray through.

Prayer Gatherings

The Chapel was available for prayer Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM. In addition, we hosted informal prayer gatherings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting to allow our church family to pray together.

A Praying Church

Listen to the sermon series A Praying Church as Timothy Ateek walks through why and how we can pray as individuals, within our communities, and as a church body so we can be not just a church that prays, but a praying church.

Prayer Service

Watermark hosts weekly prayer services in our Chapel on Sundays at 5:30 PM and Mondays at 6:00 AM. These prayer services are a simple way to experience God’s presence and demonstrate our dependence on God. Together as a church, we ask God to teach us, lead us, and move in our city. If you would like to pray with others or simply be prayed for, you are welcome to join us anytime.
