I had the opportunity to live in seven different states by the time I turned 25, but since I spent half of that time in NM and most of the other half in GA… TX has been a sweet mixture of the two. I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age, but I began seriously walking with the Lord during my freshman year of college. My four years at Georgia Southern University gave me a sweet taste of Biblical community, so upon graduating I was hopeful to find that again.
My career in the printing industry took me all around the country, eventually bringing me to Dallas. Before moving to Dallas I thought I might not want to stay long-term, but once I got here and found Watermark… I knew Dallas was my new home. The Lord has used my time at Watermark to strengthen my faith, and eventually led me to take step away from the printing industry to join the Watermark Institute. During those ten months I had the privilege of serving in children’s ministry, and now I’m honored to support many of Watermark’s ministries in my role on the Tech/Arts team.
