Did you leave after hearing Sunday’s message and think, “Well, now what?” Each Sunday, we will provide a discussion guide for our church body designed to create a conversation about what we’re learning. We encourage you to prayerfully gather with your family, friends and community group and dive into how to apply Sunday’s teaching from God’s Word to your life.

- Our forefathers believed, as the declaration states, that life, liberty and happiness are only supported as we exhibit a “firm reliance on the protection of divine providence.” Life is found only in a life ordered under God. What are some ways you have found life under God? What are some ways that you seek life apart from God?
- Deuteronomy 6:18 says: “Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you . . .” As a loving Father, God gives us direction and guidance not to rip us off but to give us freedom. Do you believe this? Would the way live support that you believe this?
- Todd shared a parable of the keeper of the spring. In the parable the village slowly declines into disease and death because they ignore the keeper of the spring. What did you think as he shared this parable? Read Ecclesiastes 8:11 and Psalm 32:8-9. Are there areas of your life where you continue to ignore the keeper of the spring because it has not cost you anything yet?
- Next steps: Pray. Purify yourself. Proclaim to the world that life is found only in God. Discuss with your community group how you can practically implement these three things.
