Summertime is upon us and with it, all kinds of amazing opportunities for us as parents to take the lead in making the most of the days ahead. Every day we have is a gift from the Lord, but there is something unique in our culture about these summer days when kids are out of school, the daylight lasts later into the evening, and our time together as a family has the opportunity to be multiplied. As with every gift from the Lord, the biggest question for us is, “How will we steward this gift for the glory of the Lord and the good of our family?”
This month at DadU on the Plano campus, Kyle Kaigler shared three principles for how we can lead our family through the Summer:
- Prepare your heart for a great summer.
- Prepare your family’s heart for a great summer.
- Initiate fun and significance throughout the summer.
