We have partnered with Pine Cove to bring our members the opportunity to stay at their family camp, Pine Cove Bluffs. Community groups and Watermark members can spend time strengthening relationships, playing games, and unwinding.
Each cabin has a queen size bed, futon, 2 sets of bunk beds, with two bathrooms. Each cabin is equipped with AC and has a minifridge. Towels and linens are provided.
Each cabin has a minifridge and there is a shared microwave and standard fridge, but the commercial kitchen is unavailable for attendees. Groups have made sandwiches, ordered pizza, made a crockpot meal, or tried new restaurants in Tyler.
Equipment such as fire wood and fire starters, pickleball paddles and balls, and disc golf discs are not provided.
We are not providing curriculum or schedules for the weekend as we want each community group to be able to use the weekend in the way they need it. However, we have helpful guides for how and why to do a retreat, games to play, retreat questions, and how to prepare.
Weekends at Pine Cove Bluffs are intended for members, their families, and those in their community group. It is not intended to host members from other churches, people outside their homes, or those not affiliated with Watermark. Opportunities to host others can be found at ministry events at Pine Cove Bluffs.
