Reclaimed, Watermark’s anti-sex trafficking ministry, exists to empower and mobilize God’s Church to redefine a hyper-sexualized culture, restore lives victimized by the sex industry, and reach a world hurt by the abuse of sex all through the power of Jesus Christ.
Participants will learn about the underlying issue of this international and local problem, while getting the chance to be a part of the solution.
The goal of our anti-sex trafficking ministry is to seek to redefine, reach, and restore the repercussions that come from the brokenness of sex trafficking.
In America, this means combatting the lies of our hyper-sexualized pornography culture with the truths of Scripture. We are committed to reteaching our culture what it means to value sex and purity in the same way the Creator does.
The Church is the answer to a hurting and unbelieving world. Our hope is to train the Church to holistically fight trafficking, as well as mobilize individuals to partner with organizations making a difference by the power of the Holy Spirit.
A fallen world means broken lives. In conjunction with our ministry partners, we walk with men and women impacted by the sex industry as we introduce them to our Savior who can heal all things.
Due to the nature of this issue, we ask that those who want to serve with this ministry first attend the Reclaimed Roots Study. While there are ways you can jump in and serve without attending the study, this is a requirement to serve with Reclaimed long-term. Once participants have finished the Reclaimed curriculum, they are given the chance to connect with a local organization to bring justice and healing to those affected by this devastating industry.
