Cultural Engagement Workshops

Engaging in conversations on today’s social issues can be intimidating. Our members often mention politics, racism, sexuality, classism, and socioeconomic differences as specific issues that can be hard to discuss with family, co-workers, neighbors, and even their own community group. Watermark’s Cultural Engagement Workshops equip you and your community group to maintain unity in Christ with fellow believers and engage with nonbelievers around cultural issues.

In this workshop, a trusted Watermark member will help you and your community group address any beliefs causing difficulty in loving others in a Christ-like way through Scripture and theological tools. This workshop does not affiliate with a specific political view on specific issues. Instead, it will equip you to navigate differences while maintaining unity and remaining rooted in the truth of God’s Word.

This workshop is designed as a two-session workshop (each session is two hours long). If your group is unable to accommodate two sessions, our team can facilitate an abridged version of the workshop in one session.

Step 1: Have only one member from your group fill out the registration form on this page.
Step 2: Schedule a time on Calendly when your community group determines a date that works for the majority of your group members.

Kids Ministry is not provided for this event.
