I grew up in a suburb right outside of Atlanta, Georgia with two wonderful parents and an older sister. I didn’t get the opportunity to meet Jesus until I was 13 years old when I started attending my home churches middle school ministry. There my small group leader faithfully shared the Gospel with me and met with me weekly to teach me about who Jesus is.
Throughout high school, I did all the right things that I believed God required of me, I served in different capacities and led in different roles. Doing this took me down a path of believing that I needed to do good, work for God, and if I didn’t meet others needs then I would be letting God down. My freshman year at Auburn University I hit a low that I didn’t know how to come back up from until the Lord’s mercy met me in a new way. I was able to experience the Gospel in ways that I hadn’t understood and desperately needed to receive. Thankful for a God who is patient with us, continuously draws us to His heart, and has given us a salvation that cannot be earned.
During my senior year of college, I grew in my want to understand scripture more and grow in my love of Christ. This led me to moving to Dallas to complete the Watermark Institute and soon after join on as the Receptionist. In my free time you can find me at my favorite coffee shops, outside, or convincing people why Auburn, Alabama is the best college town!
