Meet Jen

Hi friends! My name is Jennifer Hawkins but also known as “Jen” by many. I am a lover of my family, God’s Word, chips, guacamole & salsa.

I grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas with amazing parents who love the Lord. I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters along with many foster siblings that came in and out of my parents’ home 43 years of my life. I accepted Christ at a very young age but for many years after that, I was not marked by walking with Jesus and seeking Him in the decisions I was making, especially in my High School and College years.

It was my “brick wall” that I hit when I became pregnant at 19 years old and decided to start living fully for the Lord and not have one foot in and one foot out in my relationship with Him. That was the beginning of me surrendering to Him and me finally listening to what He has always been saying, which is that, “His way are perfect and that He doesn’t have any flaws. He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30

I have been married to my best friend Johnny since 1995 and we have five children along with one son-in-law. We are loving this stage of life!

I now have the privilege of being on the pastoral/kids team as the inclusion care coordinator for our special needs ministry and I am LOVING IT! It is a true gift!
