Meet Avery

I grew up in Dallas as the oldest of four kids. My younger brother is a cancer survivor, and he was diagnosed while I was in elementary school. My parents leaned on their faith during that time, and I saw how it helped them get through some tough years. I wanted the peace and confidence they had, and so I put my trust in the Lord from a young age. Since then, my faith has continued to grow as I’ve deepened my understanding of the gospel and seen its beauty and richness.

I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Management Information Systems and then did the Watermark Institute the year after I graduated. During this time, God grew my love for the local church and a passion for using my business background to support ministries and the body. After finishing the Institute, I’ve joined the communications team in a full time role, which I love!
