In our sermon series, Uncompromised: Holding to Christian Convictions in a Cancel Culture, we’re exploring social issues such as race, abortion, gender, sexuality, religious liberty, immigration, and more. As a church, we are seeking to understand the times in which we live (1 Chronicles 12:32), carefully examine the Scriptures to understand what is true (Acts 17:11), and respond with truth and kindness (1 Peter 3:15).
There is a lot that can be said about each of these topics, and about how to lovingly engage with those who disagree. If you are interested in learning more, below are some recommended resources that provide more in-depth discussion of the issues. You can choose a few to read on your own, if you wish, or perhaps even pick one to discuss together as a community group.
