It can be easy to lose ourselves in our screens and not realize how long we’ve been online. How would you describe your relationship with technology? How much time do you spend in front of a screen a day? (computer, video games, cell phone, television etc.)
Are there any areas of your life that you have made ‘off limits’ to God, including the amount of time you spend looking at a screen?
Do you believe technology is a major distraction in your life? How might the enemy use technology to keep you from enjoying God?
What does it mean that "“I have the right to do anything,” you say but not everything is beneficial.“I have the right to do anything” but not everything is constructive." (verse 23)?
Are there things in your life that aren’t technically sinful but are not profitable or edifying? (i.e. technology)
How can technology keep you from living out verse 31 in your life right now?

Read Romans 12:1-2: Screens didn’t exist when Paul wrote these words, but he was talking about the way people live their day-to- day lives. What does Paul mean by the renewing of your mind? How should your renewed mind shape and influence your thinking and behavior when it comes to your screen time?
Hebrews 12:1 calls us to “lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely.” What are some practical ways you can combat the technology weighing you down?
What safegaurds or limits do you need to put around technology to help you "fix your eyes on Jesus"?
Technology is an inescapable part of our lives that can influences our view of the world. The way we spend our screen time is a clear indicator of what we are following. So rather than copying the behaviors of the world, we want to utilize our screen time in a way that intentionally transforms our minds and lives to in order to “stay tuned” into Jesus.
