Meet Kaitlyn

Howdy!

I am a native Dallas girl who was raised in a Christian family with 2 amazing parents and 3 cool (but not as cool as me) younger brothers. I grew up attending church every weekend, in addition to most of the weeknight programs too. With that, I knew a lot about God from a really young age. I was in the “good” crowd growing up, never got into too much trouble, attended the Christian events, and overall looked like I had a relationship with God from the outside. I understood the Gospel and believed it to be true at a young age.

I got the opportunity to spend a summer living on the beach in Destin, Florida (the dream summer, am I right!) after my sophomore year of college through a program called Kaleo. It was at this program that they asked me to share my testimony, and someone pointed out for the first time that there seemed to be no change in my life after I said I believed the Gospel as a kid. This was the moment I realized I never gave 100% of myself to the Lord. I was happy to trust Him with the small things, but the big things were mine to control. While I knew a lot about God and believed all of it was true, I didn’t have a relationship with God that allowed me to trust that He could handle things better than I could. That summer I decided to fully go all-in with Christ. I realized that if He already knows what every day of my life will look like, why would I not trust Him (Psalm 139:16).

In 2021, I graduated from the University of Arkansas (WOO PIG SOOIE!) and moved back to Dallas. I soon began working for Watermark Health on the Operations team. It was incredible to get a front row seat at the work God is doing through this medical ministry. In 2022, I transitioned to Watermark’s Finance team. It is such a privilege to get to be on this team alongside so many others who desire to live a life glorifying the Lord each day.

When I am not at work, you can find me working out, at a game night with friends, or trying the coolest new restaurant in Dallas!
