I grew up in a Christian home and knew the gospel from a young age. However, through middle school and high school my life was marked by going through the motions of my faith as I sought to find my identity in girls, sports, and what others thought about me. It was not until I went off to college at Dallas Baptist University (Go Pats!) and got plugged into Watermark that I realized the value of Christian community, and what a daily relationship with the Lord looked like. I was blessed to find a group of guys who loved me despite my brokenness, and who sharpened me throughout my time in college. I began working at Kanakuk Kamps each summer where I eventually met my wife, Linen. I asked her to marry me in 2019 and we had a COVID wedding in 2020. Following my time in college, I graduated from the Watermark Institute in 2020 and jumped into student ministry with our middle school team for 4 years. I now get to serve as a Community Director here and find so much joy in shepherding and building deep relationships with married and single groups. My wife and I have two amazing kids, our daughter Lucy, and our son Leroy. Through all that the Lord has done in my life, I am left extremely grateful to understand the value of abiding with Him and treasuring the truth of His Word.
