Meet Krista

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas, where my parents took me and my younger sister to church at an early age. I grew up with foundational knowledge about who God was and what He did for me, but it wasn’t until my junior year of high school that I was ready to go all in with Jesus. Before I met Him, I was self-reliant, a people-pleaser, and driven by achievement.

Since coming to know Christ, I have found the joy in dependence and the freedom in living a life marked by faithfulness rather than performance. The Lord brought me to Watermark in 2018 where I was able to find community, find healing through Regeneration, and discover a deep love for His Word and His people through the Watermark Institute.

Since completing the Institute in 2024, the Lord has instilled in me a deep love for learning and reading. I now spend much of my free time diving into books, catching a movie with friends, or baking a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies!
