I grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma, in a Christian household where I was exposed to the gospel from a young age. By God’s grace, I trusted Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was eight. As I grew up, I began to misplace my identity in achievements, sports, and people’s opinions.
During my freshman year of college at Oklahoma State University, God, in His kindness, reminded me that my identity is in Christ and that He alone is sufficient for my soul! An older girl in my sorority began disciplining me and walked alongside me as I grew in intimacy with Christ through memorizing scripture, confessing sin, and living in biblical community. I got plugged into a campus ministry where I began to desire to multiply my life through sharing my faith and discipling others. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Strategic Communications and moved to Dallas to do the Watermark Institute.
Through the Institute, God continued to grow my knowledge and love for Him through His Word, His church, and His people. I am so grateful for the Lord’s kindness in providing an opportunity to work on Watermark’s staff team!
